Problems Upgrading To Vg 5.2.5049

Using Win2000

 

had previous version of VG 5.1.0.3310 installed. Uninstalled this version BUT now when i try and install the new version the installer asks me "Do you want to completely remove the selected application.....?". if i click OK then progress bar zips through to 100% and then nothing is installed. if i click cancel nothing happens.

 

How do I get the new version installed?
